Homeland 4 premieres in October. Carrie Matheson leaves her baby behind to fight America’s enemies

Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), in my opinion, the main character in this TV series wrestles with being a working mother in a new trailer for season four of Homeland.
She finds herself back in the Middle East as CIA station chief after giving birth to a little girl fathered by the late Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), who was hanged in the season three series finale. Due to her dedication in catching America’s enemies, she leaves her daughter at home with strong protests from her family.
Carrie and Brody caught the attention of viewers full time
Another main story to follow in this new series sees CIA operative and assassin Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) questioning the morality of his work. From the previous seasons, we have seen his mood when it comes to carrying out some dirty assignments for the CIA. Let’s see how he manages. Saul Berenson? He is still there; he works behind the scenes now, providing mentorship for the operatives he trained and left behind.
Meanwhile, a new character is introduced - Sandy Bachman, played by House of Cards alum Corey Stoll, as the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan. His introduction will surely bring a new twist in this saga.
Homeland is currently being shot in South Africa, with the new season returning to Showtime on October 5. Filming on the award winning show is scheduled to continue into November.
