Away With Murder. Now, Shonda Rhimes has spoken out about some people being
unable to separate her race and gender when it comes to the discussion of her
sky-rocketing career.
In a profile by The Hollywood Reporter, the 44-year-old Hollywood
powerhouse remarked upon seeing her name listed as 'the most powerful black
female showrunner in Hollywood' for an event, saying: 'They wouldn't say
that someone is "the most powerful white male showrunner in Hollywood.'"
